A number of people from the church congregation meet in Ann Cam C of E School every week to read a dramatised version of the traditional Bible stories, usually taken from the 'Lion Storyteller Bible' which is ideal for the Primary School age range and covers all the main stories including Creation, Moses, Noah and on through to the Ascension of Jesus back to heaven.

The Dymock team has about 12 members, but not more than half usually attend any one Assembly. Each story lasts from 10-15 minutes, so they easily fits into the normal Assembly slot. As a fallback, the story is read by the team of adults but they try to use the children, and even the staff when they can, especially if it only requires acting and not reading, which is best rehearsed beforehand. Sometimes minor costumes are used such as a headdress or cloak to help 'set the scene'.
